The Iowa Annual Conference of the United Methodist church has available for purchase a limited number of Dell OptiPlex 320 desktop computers. These computers are available for $100 each to United Methodist affiliated churches, pastors, organizations, and individuals. These computers have Windows XP Professional installed and include factory documentation, factory operating system reinstall disc, software discs, and driver disc. Also a power cable is included. Other misc. cables, a keyboard, and/or a mouse may be included depending upon supplies. The OptiPlex 320's have most of the recent Windows updates / service packs installed. We are not including monitors, printers, or the Microsoft Office suite. Description of Duties 2 Major Foci: Spiritual Development of Youth & Cultivate Volunteer Leaders Spiritual Development of Youth Providing care and pastoral guidance to youth. Creating a culture of "invitation." Engaging the youth in paths of spiritual growth. Seeking opportunities for the youth to be in missional service (local and afar). Implementing a system of growth and development for the program that fits into the greater ministry plan of the church. Making sure that the youth program keeps with the doctrine of the United Methodist Church. Cultivate Volunteer Leaders Recruiting, training, equipping, and development of volunteer leaders. General Staff Duties: Candidate will meet the requirements for, and be, Safe Sanctuary trained (5 yrs older than oldest youth [23], pass a background check, and take part in all Safe Sanctuary training) Be available for evening and weekend ministry work. Grace Garden is a Christian based preschool program located in the Coralville United Methodist Church. We are open M-F 6:30-6pm. We are currently looking to hire full and part-time teachers who either have a degree in Early Childhood or some experience working with children ages 3-5. We are looking for caring individuals who want to share their love of Christ with others. CPR First Aid, and Universal Precautions Certified is preferred, but not necessary.
