For those interested in the emerging church in Columbia

Volunteers are invited to participate on an UMVIM trip to Brisas del Mar Colombia the 9th of January for 6 or 7 days. There are 2 projects for this trip:

Two Classrooms at the schools supported by the local Methodist Church have roofs that are collapsed. We propose to replace the fiber cement roof panels in time for kids to utilize these rooms when they return from winter break. Otherwise several classes will be bunched into one room.

Construction of a health post in Brisas del Mar has commenced and volunteers will find plenty of work assisting in this UMCOR project. This project will provide healthcare for Brisas del Mar and five other communities in this area.
