Calling All UMC Contestants at the Iowa State Fair!
We are just a little more than a week away from the start of the Iowa State Fair, and we’re searching for the names of Iowa United Methodist participants who enter various events at the State Fair (4-H, FFA, Baking, Animals, Photography, Husband Calling, Musicians, Preaching, Century Farms, etc.). We’ll post your name, the event you are competing in, and the day that you are participating on our website. You may even get your photo taken and displayed on the website during the Fair! Email Darci Hartman with all the details of your event!
Remember to stop by the Varied Industries Building and say hello to our volunteers in the blue t-shirts as they promote our Camping Ministries. This year NOMADS volunteers will also be staffing our booth and sharing their ministry on various days. We will draw daily for a free week at Camp, so be sure to sign up for the daily drawing when you visit the booth!
We celebrate another year of sharing our ministry with the multitude of visitors to the State Fair, which gives us the potential to reach one million people in 11 days!
