Construction Volunteers Needed for VIM Mission Trip
For the February 6 - 19, 2010 Iowa volunteer work trip to Danli, Honduras, we are still looking for three more construction persons to assist with the construction of a second floor on the present Methodist Church. A variety of skills are needed. Helpers and persons fluent in Spanish can be useful.
A medical team will be part of the trip so health care professionals are welcome to join a small medical team to see and treat patients at the same location/community as the construction team. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists and medical helpers would be welcome.
The cost of the trip from Des Moines is $1,425 which is mostly all inclusive. Feel free to share this news request with other church members. For further information, feel free to call or e-mail me.
Thanks for your prayerful consideration of the mission opportunity.
