Greetings from the Dir. of Recovery,
GREAT NEWS!! Block by Block has purchased their first house! Take a look at the pictures I have attached! Block by Block keeps moving forward. We have 6 blocks signed on and a long list of blocks that would like to sign on. This is such an exciting ministry - I can't even begin to tell you how exciting! The Spirit is moving in the Block by Block team and we are rebuilding neighborhoods!
I have had the opportunity to talk with two agencies this week and both of them expressed an interest in working with B by B to find a home for one of the many families that desperately need low income housing. That's just TWO agencies with long lists of families!
The volume of volunteers that have already come to help in Eastern Iowa is overwhelming and we thank God for all of you!
But as you can see by the pictures, we still have a lot of work ahead. Help is still needed in Mt. Union and Oakville.
Prayerfully consider getting a team together and bringing them to Eastern Iowa. WE NEED YOU!
