Worldmaking Worship Event
May 7-8, Shalom Retreat Center, Dubuque, IA
The first of six inspiring worship events is coming up soon, and there is still time to register with your worship team.
The first one, May 7-8, is entitled "Stories," exploring how Jesus described the spiritual with parables, metaphors, images. How do we faithfully tell the old, old Story with our 21st century imaginations in worship? Full description at www.WorldmakingWorship.com.
To support and inspire worship leaders, the Iowa Board of Discipleship is offering this exciting series of Friday-Saturday retreat events in 2010-1012 for clergy and laity.
Directed by worship leaders Richard and Trish Bruxvoort-Colligan, the series is designed with an emphasis in holistic, multi-sensory and experiential worship, and liturgy as spiritual formation.

The Commission in Ministry With Persons With Disabilities is holding a Seminar during the Annual Conference on inclusion of all persons in worship. Staci Holms will be presenting during the evening meal of the first day of the 2010 IAUMC, June 5th.
