Final Week to Register for Poverty Summit

There are just three days left to register for the 2008 Ecumenical Poverty Summit! Plan to join us this Saturday, October 25, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Plymouth UCC in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Summit will focus on education, compassion and action. Newly-elected Bishop Julius C. Trimble of the Iowa Annual Conference will offer the local speaker address in the morning. Kim Bobo, Founder and Executive Director of Interfaith Worker Justice, is our afternoon keynote speaker.

Cost to register is $20 for adults/individuals and $10 for students. Scholarships are available to anyone who may need assistance; please contact me for more information.
