Annual Conference Special Offerings total nearly $80,000

The Special Offerings received at the 2012 session of the Iowa Annual Conference totalled $79,711.85. In addition to that amount significant pledges were made to Imagine No Malaria. The pledged gifts are pending.
The Special Offerings and totals are:
- Imagine No Malaria: $49,409.51 (not including pledges)
- Global AIDS Fund: $4917.09
- Bishop’s Discretionary Fund: $6669.75
- Nigerian Student College Scholarship Fund: $7221.52
- Clergy Sustentation Fund: $5967.69
- Diakonos Offering: $5265.29 (and they then tithed 7 1⁄2% to Global AIDS Fund and 7 1⁄2% to Nigerian Student College Scholarship Fund)
- PET: $261 (enough to purchase one Personal Energy Transportation device)
