Governor Howard Dean Presents: The Public Health Insurance Option – A Prescription for Guaranteed, Affordable, Health Care for All

Thursday, May 28, 5:30-7pm (Please arrive by 5:15) – First Unitarian Church, 1800 Bell Ave, Des Moines, IA
This event is FREE and open to the public Join Democracy for America, Health Care for America Now, and the Des Moines Health Care Working Group for a special guest, Governor Howard Dean, who is offering up a prescription for change in health care reform this year.  What is a “public option?”  Why is it so important?  What can we all do collectively to help win REAL changes in health care reform in 2009 that bring quality, affordable, health care for everyone in America?


National Summit to Reform Immigration for America
June 3-5, 2009 – Washington D.C.
