Communications

Communication Services & Resources provides opportunities to share the word of God and his vision to all who wish to know it by:

• Providing services to the many agencies of the Annual Conference;
• Providing training and resources to local churches and congregations;
• Assisting congregations in developing that welcoming lifestyle that allows newcomers to feel a sense of grace and hospitality;
• Developing a broader view of United Methodism in Iowa;
• Offering hospitality through our outreach ministry at the Iowa State Fair and our Confirmation Class programs;
• Providing communication services to the office of the Bishop;
• Committing to maintain a high level of technical competency helps us to provide the message of the Gospel in new and relevant ways while maintaining a connection with our secular counterparts;
• Continuing to provide resources and tools that will enable congregations as they develop their own ministries. We will remain current in our endeavors to communicate the news of The United Methodist Church in new and relevant ways to all who will hear.
