Welcome to the Commission on Ministry with People with Disabilities web page. 

Disabilities Awareness Sunday to be observed February 12, the second Sunday in February, to celebrate the gifts and graces of persons with disabilities and promote their full inclusion in the community.  100% of the offering collected is retained by the Iowa Annual Conference to provide grants to local churches which will assist in removing architectural and attitudinal  barriers to accessibility.  Offering envelopes and bulletin inserts have been mailed to the local churches.  If you have not received your materials, please contact Dave Johnson, Central Services, 515.974.8918.
