Classes will be held on two weekends, spring and fall, with 4–6 weeks between class sessions. Advance assignments are a part of every course.

Students will arrange their own housing in local motels; and on-campus meals will be taken together in the Morningside cafeteria.  Follow these links for directions to the Morningside campus and a campus map.  Classes will be held in the RobertM.LincolnCenter on campus. The Upper Midwest Extension Course of Study School for part-time local pastors from Iowa and the upper Midwest is now open for registration.  This school is part of the Course of Study system of the UnitedMethodistChurch, and operates under the sponsorship of the regional course of study school at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois.  Licensed local pastors who are appointed to serve part-time are eligible to enroll.  The school will take place at MorningsideCollege, in Sioux City, Iowa.
