Greetings Fellow Educators,
You are invited to join the Iowa CEF group for a one day retreat in Des Moines at the Iowa United Methodist Conference Center on November 2 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The theme is Get Active. We will have a short business meeting, lunch, idea sharing, and an opportunity to hear and meet our new Leadership Development Minister for Camping and Christian Formation. Most importantly an opportunity to network and visit with new and old friends!! Martha Hill DiSilvestro will be leading us in worship. At 4:00 p.m. those who would like may go to the Sharing Closet (bunches of used curriculum that may be taken and used in your churches) and Cokesbury before you leave town.
The only cost for the retreat is for the lunch that will be served. Please fill out the registration form attached and mail it to the address listed. If you are not currently a CEF Member, please consider joining. Please note that the CEF Membership form is for 2010. We would like these to be paid by January. You may mail your registration and membership forms together.
Please consider this a valuable time to learn, grow, rest and be with others that are passionate about sharing the love of God with our children, youth, and adults.
