Pictured Rocks
Pictured Rocks sits quietly on 74 acres atop an open glade surrounded by woods adjacent to 1800 acres of wildlife preserve featuring limestone bluffs and the scenic Maquoketa River. Campers experience God throughout the entire day's programming; specifically in small group Bible study and evening worship at one of our five outdoor chapel sites as they learn about Bible heroes.
Campers will also experience outdoor fun and adventure through numerous age appropriate opportunities, which may range from Frisbee Golf to archery, mountain boarding to rock climbing, nature hikes to canoeing, indoor swimming (across the street at Camp Courageous) to outdoor sports and many more. Our campers may decide to stay in tents or Yurts at one of our two outpost sites or decide to stay in our climate controlled cabins and lodges. We prepare and serve hearty, homemade meals or campers may choose a program in which they prepare and cook their own meals over an open fire.
One thing for certain is that the campers will have fun as they learn about God and Jesus through the examples of caring and nurturing by our carefully selected and trained summer staff.
