Background: 
Bishop Trimble was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He is the fourth child of John (deceased) and Marybelle Trimble both of Montgomery, Alabama.   He answered the call to ministry at age 16 as an active youth member of Christ United Methodist Church, Chicago.

Illinois State University, Normal, IL, B.S. Sociology Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, M. Div. Ashland Theological Seminary, Doctor of Ministry

Family:
Bishop Trimble is married to Racelder Grandberry-Trimble, a graduate of Illinois State University and Methodist Theological Seminary.  She is a Professional Counselor, Children & Family Advocate and community volunteer.  The Trimble’s are the parents of three young adult children:  Cameron Calvin, Candiace Racelder and Julius Thomas.

Additional Notes:
Served on the Cleveland Saint Luke’s Foundation Board, 1998-2008 Served as Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Baldwin Wallace College and at Methodist Theological Seminary in Ohio, 2000-2008 Served on the General Board of Church and Society, 2000-2008.  Dean of the East Ohio Cabinet, 2001 The Rev. Dr. Julius C. Trimble Endowment Scholarship was established at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2006 to support student scholarships.
