Dubuque, Center Grove UM Church All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm at 3140 Brunskill Road, Dubuque IA. Menu includes fruit, rolls, scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, coffee, orange juice and milk. Cost for adults $7 and children $4. Proceeds will go toward purchasing a much needed snow blower for the church. Center Grove is a handicapped accessible church.
The Solon United Methodist Church is offering a healing prayer service on Sunday, Feb. 12th at 4:30 PM. This service is designed to provide encouragement and support for individuals and families who are facing life trials. There will be time for candle-lighting, prayer, contemplation, sharing, blessing and a fellowship hour will follow. Spiritual healing is God’s work of offering persons balance, harmony, and wholeness of body, mind, and relationships. All people with personal concerns or who want to offer support are welcomed to come and worship with us. Day care will be provided and a time of fellowship will follow the service. United Methodist Church of Monticello, 123 North Chestnut St, Monticello IA 52310-1422, is having a Friday Soup Supper from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Menu includes choice of 3 homemade soups, breads, beverages and basic dessert – specialty dessert is an additional charge. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under and seniors. Specialty desserts are an additional $2.50
