Virgin Healthmiles Walking News
**watch for updates to be posted soon**
As with all new programs there have been several questions on how to get enrolled, when do I get my pedometer, and how to use it?

Virgin Healthmiles pedometer and walking program is available to those active clergy, spouses, and others who participate in the Conference Health Insurance program with Wellmark.

The process to get the pedometer is to enroll with Virgin Healthmiles on the following website virginhealthmiles.com/iaumc.  Once you get to that website, please scroll down and click on the red “join now” button. This will take you to the enrollment page. After filling in the information, you should receive your pedometer in 7-10 business days.

After you enroll with Virgin Healthmiles, please send $20/person to the Treasurer’s office, marked “Virgin Healthmiles.” If you paid at Annual Conference and are still waiting for your pedometer, please enroll on the Virgin Healthmiles website.

Several persons, often spouses, get an error message that they are not found in the database. There have been issues relating to the birthdate information that was imported from General Board of Pensions to the Virgin Healthmiles database. If you are having trouble, please contact Kris Wyatt.

Once you get your pedometer, you will need to follow the enclosed instructions to activate your pedometer through the Virgin Healthmiles website. Then put it on and accumulate steps!

The Center for Health, our denominational wellness center, will be beginning a walking challenge Sept 23-Oct 21 to help people accumulate extra reward healthmiles. Please stay tuned to the “Go-zone” web page!

Still have questions? E-mail Kae Tritle  or Kris Wyatt.
