Immigration Reform resolution

Whereas God calls for love and justice for everyone; and

 

Whereas Christians have differing views on the complex issue of immigration; and

 

Whereas Arizona SB-1070 illustrates the failures of the present immigration situation;

 

Therefore, be it resolved that the Iowa Annual Conference requests continuing intercessory prayer for comprehensive immigration reform, including all aspects, that is fair and just for all persons; and asks all Iowans to study this subject and express their views to lawmakers.
