Charge Conference forms are available through your Church Dashboard. If you don’t remember the log-in information, please email [email protected] or call the District Office, 319-382-0436.
It is the responsibility of each Church to submit their reports to the District Office either by email or mailing them to GV District Office, PO Box 607, Marion IA 52302-0607 the next working day after your charge conference.
A copy of Form I - Pastoral Support MUST be submitted to the District Office at least two-weeks prior to your charge conference. The document does not need to have the signatures when it is sent in for review but MUST have signatures at the time of the Charge Conference.
Please review the Charge Conference schedule and be sure to let [email protected] know if your church is missing.
If you see a location your church is closer to and prefer to attend that cluster, please notify Ann.
Note from District Superintendent Brian:
For churches that are disaffiliating in November, attendance at Charge Conference is optional. Also, disaffiliating churches will not fill out paperwork because all paperwork is for 2024.
Appointed and Assigned pastors will still attend their professional interviews.
Laypersons, Lay Servants, Lay Speakers, Certified Lay Ministers, Retired Clergy, Clergy in Extension Ministries, and Local Pastors not currently appointed, who are members of, or who have charge conference relationship with, disaffiliating churches and who wish to remain in the UMC must identify another UMC church with which to relate.
