Clean water is still an issue in Flint Michigan. Until ALL of the lead containing water lines are replaced, residents of Flint will have to continue using filtered and bottled water.
Bishop Deborah Lieder Kiesey has asked for funds to support the work of the Michigan Conference in helping to provide filters and clean water. YOU CAN HELP by donating the amount you would spend on a case of water ($4.00) or the price of a pitcher filter system ($20.00-$45.00) Donations can be deposited in the large water bottle at the Treasurer’s Office during Annual Conference and will be sent to the Michigan Conference Water for Flint outreach.
