'I have a feeling in my heart that I'm supposed to be persistent'

Rev. Mike Tupper, a United Methodist clergy from Michigan, will be sleeping in a tent on the grounds of the Iowa Conference center on Friday, March 4, 2016.  His continuing witness, of 175 days, is in support of LGBTQ persons within the church.  He talks about his experiences of officiating at his daughter's wedding to her partner and of participating in a second same gender ceremony, for Rev. Benjamin Hutchinson.  His travels have taken him to Wisconsin, Indiana, and soon on to Ohio and then Portland, Oregon, the site of the 2016 General Conference.  Dr. Art McClanahan spoke with Rev. Tupper on Thursday, March 3, at the Iowa Conference Center.
