Talking About #MeToo
What does it look like when we talk about civil issues, with respect and care, inside the church? Women at the Well--the church inside the women's prison in Mitchellville--is hosting a series of conversations about Sexual Assault & Sexual Harassment--the #MeToo issue--in two different locations over the next few weeks: Come to one or all, and we'll practice talking: Telling our stories. Hearing one another with care and respect. Seeing where our stories intersect with the larger civil conversation. 

• Wednesday days, 10:30 am-12:30 pm, January 31 & February 7 & 14 at Immanuel UMC, 2900 49th St., Des Moines.

These conversations follow a similar experience hosted by Women at the Well UMC inside the women's prison in Mitchellville, Iowa. Our conversation outside the walls will include some highlights of what happened inside. We hope you'll join in these civil circles of care and practice. Come to one, or come to all. Bring a friend.
