Hospitality is the theme of the Central District United Methodist Women annual Day Apart from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Burns United Methodist Church, 1909 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in Des Moines. All men and women of the district are invited! Speakers and activities will focus on homelessness, the imprisoned and immigrants. A potluck salad lunch will be served.
