The 40th Annual Mission Ingathering will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at five locations throughout the state—First UMC in Cedar Falls, St. Paul’s UMC in Cherokee, Greenfield UMC, Iowa Wesleyan University in Mount Pleasant, & Asbury UMC in Webster City.

The Purpose of Mission Ingathering is to show the love of Christ to the world’s people by ministering to their needs.  The event at all locations will begin at 8 am.  Mission Ingathering raises funds and in-kind gifts for organizations such as Church World Service, Heifer International, Self-Help International, Mobility Worldwide Iowa, Midwest Mission, and UMCOR.  In addition, funds are raised to be awarded as District Hunger Grants every spring.  The 2018 Ingathering event awarded $16,000 to 79 different local food pantries or meal programs across the state.
