Conflict happens. It is a reality in every church and every relationship—especially if they’re healthy ones. We will respond to and resolve conflict more effectively when we have a plan and the expectation that there is a way through it. That’s the subject of this one-day workshop which will offer a Biblically-grounded introduction to addressing conflict in a win-win manner. We’ll consider the nature and role of conflict. We’ll explore our own personal styles that affect our responses to conflict. We’ll learn practical skills and strategies toward peacemaking. We'll practice skills that will help us manage ourselves and respond to others when conflict appears in any part of our lives--from personal relationships to work settings to our churches.

This workshop is intended for clergy and other church leaders who want concepts and practice for being better prepared when conflict arises. Each participant will receive a training manual. Registrants will be asked to complete a conflict style assessment and review their results before arriving at the workshop. 

CEUs are available upon request. Snacks, drinks, and lunch will be provided.
