The word “audit” can scare anyone, but an annual audit of finances is required annually by the Book of Discipline in every church.  What does that mean?  And how can it be done correctly but with the resources available?   Terry Montgomery, Conference Treasurer, and Emily Graber, Sr Staff Accountant, will be presenting a strategy for churches to “De-Scarify” the church annual audit – particularly for those smaller churches that do not have the resources for an accountant to independently review their books, and then answering your questions.
