Friends, we will soon embark on an online, conference-wide Advent Study of Bishop Ken Carter’s new book, Unrelenting Grace. In the first session, we will cover the introduction and chapter one, which focus on grace and holiness as a United Methodist way of life. We will talk about racism and our struggles with equity for our LGBTQIA+ siblings.  And, we will explore ways to live into the challenge that Bishop Carter puts before us, “of being an evangelical church that is welcoming to all.”
