Friends the
Unrelenting Grace Advent Study is underway. We had a wonderful time last Tuesday discussing a United Methodist Way of life that is marked personal and social holiness and grace extended to all. In our next session, we will discuss Chapter 2 of Bishop Ken Carter’s book, and focus on how grace connects us and calls us to a revival that is centered in reconciliation, holiness and peace. We also will talk about ways we read Scripture, holding it in tension with experience, tradition and reason. And will reflect on Bishop Carter’s call to a “convicted humility.” You can still join mid-stream for this conference-wide Advent Study on Unrelenting Grace. We have three more sessions on Tuesday evenings at 7pm Central—December 5, 12 and 19. We are meeting entirely online. Go to the website below to register and get a copy of the book. And please hold the date, January 7, 2024, for an Epiphany service of Commitment and Healing. I hope you will join us. Blessings.

We hope Advent in 2023 might be a season in which we embrace grace, seek holiness, and reconnect with one another, culminating in a conference-wide Epiphany worship service of commitment.
