Thanks to a group of non-profits sponsoring this event, we can offer this wonderful training for Free in Des Moines.
Join us for a training featuring national speaker Deepa Iyer, a senior fellow with Race Forward, that will provide participants with an understanding of concepts and practices related to equity, inclusion, and solidarity through an anti-racism framework. It will also enable participants to identify ways to take action to shape equitable and inclusive communities. The two-hours session is tailored towards people in various sectors including education, religion, business, labor, government, and social justice advocates
. There is no cost for the training and it is open to the public. Free, ample parking is available.
