Fresh Expressions

A Vision Day is a one-day training event that provides an opportunity to discover what it means to be the Church in new and creative ways, hear from Fresh Expressions practitioners, learn how to renew existing congregations through fresh expressions of church, and discern what this could mean for your region, community, or neighborhood. There is active discussion as well as opportunity to build networks and relationships among those in your area.

How Ordinary People Can Pioneer a New Form of Church

By Shannon Kiser

Be honest...when you think of a pioneer leader for a fresh expression of church, a picture probably forms in your mind’s eye. That picture is likely someone who is su- per-charismatic, super-knowledgable, super-talented...frankly, super-human.

You probably don’t picture yourself.

You probably look in the mirror, and an ordinary per- son looks back at you. But have you ever noticed how many ordinary people God used in Scripture to do extraordinary things?
