As a result of a strategy implemented by the Iowa Annual Conference's Appointive Cabinet, the number of short-term pastoral appointments has decreased radically over the last three years and continues to improve. The percent of full-time appointments that have turned over within three years has gone from 27% to 13% and continues to decline.
