Our final goal for the Mabaan Flood Relief fundraiser is $25,000. We are within $3,000 of the goal and have another 10 days to reach it! Can we do it?
Absolutely! With your help, that of your local church, Mission, Wills, and Bequest or Foundation committees, this goal is within our reach!!!
The fundraiser has been ongoing since the fall of 2019. It has been hampered by COVID-19 and the Derecho that tore through Iowa. We United Methodists are faithful and generous in support of our local churches and special offerings. The Mabaan Flood Relief offering sends a message of Christian care and concern to our brothers and sisters affected by the 2019 Indian Ocean Dipole in Mabaan County of South Sudan.
This is also the week of Thanksgiving, which has a different “aura” this year due to COVID, but our hearts are full of gratitude for the many blessings showered upon us by God. May you be a blessing to our Mabaan friends as you share your financial and prayers gifts to aid in humanitarian efforts.
Donations may be sent to the Conference Treasurer,

Thank you in advance for your gracious financial gift to the Mabaans.
