Annual Conference 2013 is nearly upon us, where soon many Iowa United Methodists will gather together for worship, fellowship, and an opportunity to make a difference in the life of our church.
For the 40 days prior to Annual Conference, we hope you will allow yourself some time for introspection and reflection. To help prepare ourselves for our time of worshipful work, the Communications Ministry Team of the Iowa Conference invites you to participate in a photo-a-day challenge. Following the popular Lent photo project by Rethink Church (http://rethinkchurch.org/article/lenten-photo-day-challenge), the IAUMC challenge encourages you to share how you perceive the words offered each day.
Tag us on Instagram (@iowaconferenceumc) and Twitter (@IowaConferenceUMC) with #iowaconferenceumc and #iaumc2013dailyphoto. If you don’t have Instagram or Twitter, feel free to share your photos on Facebook and tag us (Iowa Conference of The United Methodist Church).
You don’t have to be a professional photographer to participate. While we encourage creativity, this project is simply to guide you as you reflect upon Annual Conference 2013.
