Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines in beginning to take shape for the 2013 session of the Iowa Annual Conference. Markey’s Audio Visual crew is aligning the screens, balancing the cameras, checking the audio, and preparing the lighting. Staff from the Iowa Events Center is filling the hall with chairs, tables with black cloths, and constructing the stage risers. Option Technologies is testing its wireless voting keypad system. The piano and organ will be in the hall by the afternoon and all will be set for Bishop Julius Calvin Trimble to open the 170th annual session on Saturday morning, June 8, at 9:30 am.
