“Living into the Vision: Beyond Our Comfort Zones” is the theme of the 2013 North Central Jurisdiction Commission on Religion and Race Annual Learning Event. Set for October 18-20, in Independence, Ohio, the gathering will “celebrate the encompassing love of God and live into the vision while venturing beyond our comfort zones.”
Invited speakers and presenters include Bishop Julius Calvin Trimble, Bishop John Hopkins of the East Ohio Conference, retired Bishop Linda Lee, now at the Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Rev. Myungim Kim, GCORR, Rev. Giovanni Arroyo, GCORR, Rev. Dr. Samuel Royoppa, D.S. Wisconsin Annual Conference, Rev. David Whitt, Dr. Yvonne Zimmerman, Christian Ethics Methodist Theological School in Ohio, and Mr. Jack Lyons, Executive Director, Native American Indian Veterans Center.
