“United Methodist missionaries live a bold humility, crossing into new cultures. This vulnerability forces reliance on the Holy Spirit.” – Thomas Kemper
15 new missionaries from 6 countries including the Philippines, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Brazil are spending three weeks preparing for service. General Secretary Thomas Kemper (pictured in the center) who is a former missionary, met with them offering encouragement as they “participate in God’s mission.”
Please be in prayer with these faithful servants as they are sent to minister with people around the world strengthening congregations, leading theological education, working with young adults, developing community programs, and offering signs of hope.
