Dear Friends,

The reports from the Philippines are staggering. The damage and loss of life from Typhoon Haiyan are insurmountable and many Iowans have family and friends there. Aid is arriving, although reports of difficulties in distribution have been reported. Several of you have asked how we, here in Iowa, can help.

•         First and most importantly PRAY. Pray for those affected by the storm, for those responding, pray for those waiting.

•         Secondly FINANCIAL SUPPORT. Financial donations to UMCOR and the International Aid agencies that are “on the ground.”

•         Finally SUPPORT our Philippino Brothers and Sisters here in Iowa who are waiting anxiously for word regarding loved ones. Make a phone call; send note of support and Pray for them.

As soon as it is possible we will share information about how we can volunteer to help.

Be Well
Get prepared

Blessings,
