“The current Conference treasurer, Todd Weber, will be leaving the Conference,” said Human Resources Director Jodi Mardesen. “His last day with the Conference will be on Friday, November 29.”
“We have begun the search for a new Conference treasurer,” she said. “There is a job posting currently on the website under the Human Resources page under Career Opportunities.”
If someone is interested in the position they can find directions for submitting their application at the bottom at the bottom of the Career Opportunities page.
Applications will be processed through the Palmer Group
“We will be accepting applications and resumes through Sunday, December 8,” said Mardesen. “And we will then begin the initial interview phase the week of December 16.”
There will likely be a phone interview phase followed by in-person interviews, Mardesen said, projected to be first week in January.
Maggie Biggs to serve as Interim Treasurer
“The interim treasurer will be Maggie Biggs,” said Mardesen. “Maggie Biggs is currently the Assistant Treasurer and Controller.”
It was determined at the most recent Council on Finance and Administration meeting that Biggs would be appointed interim Conference Treasurer.
“She will actually step in as the interim on Tuesday, December 3,” Mardesen said. “And she will be there as the interim until such time as someone is chosen to fill the Conference Treasurer role.”
