The dates for the 7th Annual Meals from the Heartland Hunger Fight at Hy-Vee Hall are Wednesday, August 27 through Saturday, August 30. Join them in the largest hunger-fighting event in the United States. In order to reach our goal of packaging 5 million meals they need help both financially and with volunteers.
Fundraising for this event has begun in earnest in order to raise the resources necessary to buy the ingredients, supplies, equipment and all the things needed to package 5 million meals. Each meal packaged costs just 20 cents so a donation of any size makes an important impact.
Ways to support the 7th Annual Hunger Fight financially are:
1. Form a Fundraising Team
Help us fund raise by gathering your friends and family to form an online fundraising team and get them excited for our Annual Hunger Fight. Fundraising teams that help raise funds for the August event will get to sign up for packaging shifts 2 days early (July 23rd)! Note - online registration for support volunteer positions will begin July 15th. Online registration for all packaging volunteers will be available on July 25th.

Pre-ordered shirts may be picked up at the Meals from the Heartland office beginning August 10th if you select that option on the form. Note - shirts will not be available for pickup at the office the week of August 25th, but will be available for pickup at the Annual Hunger Fight.
