Bishop Rueben P. Job has died

Word was received late Saturday afternoon, January 3, 2015, of the death of Bishop Rueben P. Job.
Bishop Job was the Resident Bishop of the Iowa Conference from 1984 until 1992.
A prolific author, Bishop Job is well-known for his book, Three Simple Rules: A Welseyan Way of Living.
Bishop Julius C. Trimble, Iowa Conference’s current Bishop, said, “We lift the Rueben Job family in our prayers. A long faithful journey has come to an the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Death is not a period that ends the sentence of life, but a comma that punctuates it to a loftier existence.”
