On August 24, 2016 more than 8 inches of rain fell in Northeast Iowa. The Upper Iowa and Turkey Rivers have all flooded. Causing evacuations of homes, businesses, schools and campgrounds.
The Governor of Iowa has made a Disaster Proclamation for 6 counties in Northeast Iowa. The Hardest hit appears to be Winneshiek, Chickasaw, Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette and Howard counties and many, many rural acres.
On Saturday we delivered we delivered 144 Clean-Up Buckets and other supplies to Pastor Kevin Smith in Lansing. He has been working to get them distributed to needed areas. A Huge Thanks to Pastor Keith Pitts, Pastor Jill Mack and Jim Davies for working with transporting cleaning buckets.

Make Cleaning Buckets
A Cleaning Bucket is a 5-Gallon Bucket with a lid, filled with cleaning supplies, including: Liquid laundry soap, dish soap, insect repellant, scrub brush, cleaning wipes, liquid household cleaner, scouring pads, clothesline, dustmasks, gloves, clothespins and sponges.
