In Mission Together (IMT) is the new Iowa Conference mission focus, taking the place of the Rainbow Covenant. IMT celebrates building relationships with people/programs/projects while prayerfully doing mission together at the local, conference, national and international levels. Partnering and volunteering helps us to better understand each other as we share time, talent and presence together in missions.
By being faithful givers of financial resources and in-kind giving, we continue to provide strong foundations for shared outreach at the local, conference, national and international level. Ongoing prayers, communications and financial support for our United Methodist missionaries are needed daily.
The
IMT reporting form should be submitted annually to your District Mission Secretary by February 15. (The current IMT form and the Iowa Conference Advanced Specials have been updated as of November 1, 2021.) The form includes in-kind giving and financial donations; time, talent and shared relationships; and selecting an in mission together story to share. The IMT form may be submitted online or downloaded and mailed to your District Mission Secretary.
District Mission Secretaries are the following: Aldersgate District, Deb Goerndt; Camp Clear Lake District, Sue Hattel (interim); Riverview Park District, Kay Oliver; Pictured Rocks District, Ken & Barb Brazyn; and Golden Valley District, Rev. Steven Lamb. Each is available to assist your church in completing the IMT form and provide information about missions at local, conference, national and international levels. Additional mission resources are
located here.
Consider sharing your In Mission Together story! We love stories about churches and groups doing mission together. Opportunities sharing the love of Jesus Christ may inspire, energize and motivate others as the IMT story,
