In Mission Together reports giving and serving relationships

January 05, 2022

In Mission Together (IMT) is a ministry of the Iowa Annual Conference that encourages United Methodist churches to give prayerfully and partner with United Methodist missions on the local, conference, national, and international levels. IMT partnerships fulfill Matthew 25 and Matthew 28 and involves building relationships in shared ministries with people, programs, or projects that may last a few days or many years.

Every February 15, IMT asks churches to report and give thanks for their prayerful giving and shared opportunities of serving the needs of “the least of these” throughout the world.

Please submit your church In Mission Together form to your District Mission secretary. Forms may be completed and submitted online or downloaded and mailed. Go to for information and directions about how to submit your form.

These stories illustrate how churches can play an essential role in their communities and significantly impact those they serve. The Iowa United Methodist Church’s In Mission Together team would like to celebrate these connections and partnerships. If you would like to share a story of how your United Methodist church and congregation are engaged in God’s work by providing mission and ministry to your community and around the world, email Sue Hattel, IMT’s Mission Education chair, at [email protected] and tell her your story! We will continue to share those stories in the Weekly 360 e-newsletter. Don’t receive our newsletter? Subscribe today!

Thank you!
