Learn about more than 30 ways you can be a leader in the Iowa Annual Conference

March 02, 2022

Your Iowa Conference Nominations Coordinating Committee continually seeks new people with high energy, amazing gifts and professional talents to serve on conference level boards, committees and commissions. Nominating yourself is a way to tell us you are interested in serving the United Methodist Church on a broader, conference-wide level.

The Leadership Pool form is easy to fill out, will help you discern your spiritual gifts, ways you would like to serve, and give you detailed information about each board, committee or commission where leaders are needed.

Love kids and camping? Offer your gifts and volunteer to serve on the Board of Camps, Conference and Retreat Ministries. Have a heart for missions? Offer to serve on one of the Board of Global Ministries standing committees. There are so many ways your talents and energy is needed. Spend a few minutes and fill out the Leadership Pool form. Even if you can’t serve now, we can record your interest for future positions.
