Midwest Mission Distribution Center is coordinating a supply drive for the most requested items following recent disasters in Haiti and Louisiana. Relief supplies have already been sent to both locations, but Midwest Mission is committed to at least one more shipment at the beginning of October.
The personnel in the hardest-hit locations in Haiti and Louisiana have very specific requests for what items are needed now. Items will be collected through
October 3 at three collection sites throughout Iowa.
RELIEF ITEMS REQUESTED
Haiti:
- Blankets (new or gently used)
- Powdered milk with an expiration date of 12 months or more
- Toilet Paper
- Baby Wipes
- Diapers (adult and child)
Louisiana:
- Liquid Laundry Detergent (32-64 oz)
- Liquid Household Cleaner (16-40 oz)
- Liquid Dish Soap (14-32 oz)
