The Iowa Annual Conference Session approved the proposed 2019 Iowa Annual Conference Budget with an 827-39 vote Monday.
The 2018 ANNUAL CONFERENCE BALLOT for Conference Nominations was approved Monday with a majority vote.
A reconciling motion was made to allow the Journal Staff to make editorial changes to the record of business after the adjournment of Annual Conference. The motion passed with a simple majority.
Resolutions for Closing of Local Churches were passed Monday.
The Churches that have closed or closing in 2018 are:
- East Central District
- Elberon UMC
- North Central District
- Beaver UMC (more recently known as "Beaver Yoke"
- Fort Dodge Riverside UMC
- South Central District
- Cincinnati
- West Grove UMC
- Riverton UMC
- Northwest District
- Union Memorial Church, Milford
