Early Response Team (ERT) Training — A Caring Christian Presence in the midst of Disaster
Now is your opportunity if you have felt called to volunteer after a disaster but didn't know how. An Early Response Team (ERT) training is being held Saturday, February 25 at Denison First United Methodist Church from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost of the training is $20, which includes lunch, materials, badge and background check.
"This is great training to help people know what is the best and most helpful thing to do after a disaster," said Pastor Catie Newman, the conference Disaster Response Coordinator. "ERT training is a
United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) training; once trained you will have the resources to respond anywhere and can join a team anywhere."
