We are looking for a volunteer to be chairperson of the conference Board of Discipleship (BOD).
The purposes of the BOD are to resource churches in each of the five BOD areas of ministry – stewardship, spiritual formation, Christian education, worship, and evangelism – and to help churches develop and implement a discipleship pathway for their own ministry setting.
This board includes one representative from each district and one advocate from each of the ministry areas.
The chairperson should be an organizer and a visionary, able to guide and oversee the board membership in fulfilling the board’s purposes. The chairperson also is a member of the Conference Connectional Ministries Council.
