What YOU can do to help

What YOU can do to help

September 24, 2016

There are several things that YOU can do, RIGHT NOW to help in the flood response…Rev. Catie Newman, Conference Disaster Response Coordinator, has the following suggestions:
  • Pray
  • Make cleaning buckets and watch an UMCOR video about creating a bucket
  • Cleaning Buckets can be delivered to any of the three IAUMC Camps Pictured Rocks, Wesley Woods or Camp Okoboji…or Contact the District Disaster Response Coordinator in your District to find the nearest Location and arrange for Drop-off.
  • DON’T drive them into flooded areas themselves.
  • The East Central District has set up to give daily updates via the District Facebook page.
  • We are Advance #223 for financial donations.  Please indicate that number in the designation line on this page
