Rev. Denton W. Ericson passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015.
 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 23^rd at the Fort Des Moines United Methodist Church, 6205 SW 9^th Street, Des Moines, IA. Visitation with the family will be from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Thursday at Hamilton’s, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, IA.   
 
Rev. Ericson served at Bradgate-Palmer; Edgewood; Monticello; Mason City, First (Associate); Cedar Rapids, St. Paul’s (Associate); LeMars, Calvary and Fort Des Moines.  He retired in 1989.
 
Survivors include his wife, Elaine of West Des Moines, IA and their children:  Sue Bransky of Solon, IA; John of Alameda, CA; Wendy of West Des Moines and James of Columbus, OH.
 
Memorials may be given to the Lake Okoboji Camp & Retreat Center; Spurgeon Manor Activities Fund, Dallas Center, IA and Alzheimer Association of Iowa.
